I lived in Maleny for 10 years through the 90s. No golf course then so Woodford and beerwah were regular haunts.

Hidden Gem, I love the 18th there! Last time I played in comp, hit an amazing drive to about 100 out, wedge to the back right of the green to a right front pin and sunk the birdie in front of a full club house, the response from the club house was amazing.

great video guys. that old first hole was the worst hole to start as it is seemed to be pure luck if it stayed on the green even if you landed on the green with spin and a good shot. you guys were lucky that it wasn't raining and blowing a gale as is usual with Maleny...

Looks a great course to play, few raised tees, undulating & shaped fairways and the like. Not too dissimilar to my own. which whilst in a slightly lesser condition. has decent length but is a course from its layout that I quickly found I could happily play twice a week (or more if I can escape work). Course appears very green (obvs season - due to you guys being in winter?) Still... you're in t-shirts and blue skies, nice. There is a rumour is that we also have blue skies in the UK :(

It’s the cost golf and the equipment that makes it so hard to play. When u buy 2nd hand people don’t know what to look for. Good reviews but we don’t get golf stuff for free and that’s the hardest part. U have to spend ur own money to be looked at. Colonial gc gave me a new asshole. Please look at the greens just like pinehurst don’t beat ur self up though mate. Keep travelling.

Lads. A group of 8 of us travelled up there from Adelaide last weekend. We played Hope Island first up on Friday, the greens were really disappointing (slow). Enjoyed the layout of the course and the clubhouse was mint. Played Royal pines on the Saturday and that was a lot of fun. We finished with a round at Sanctuary Cove (The Pines) on Sunday and WOW, that was spectacular. The course was sensationally presented and the greens were unbelievable! Any chance of a Vlog there or won't they let you on?

Course looks great! Very Brookwater-esque, the 6th there is pretty reminiscent of the 6th at Brookwater too. Reuben sandwich has gotta be top tier, the Russian dressing is what does it for me!

Course looks better than the last time I played. Not soggy at all. Might give it another go sometime. Still debating on whether to use Bridgestone X or XS myself. I love the feel of XS off the putter & around the greens but it spins far too much with my driver so need to figure out which I like more.

Your hitting it really Well ! What Eye Dominate are You?and maybe look at that I’m right eye and play the ball back of center while putting and worked wonders and left eye would be an little forward ? Give Yourself more credit Sir, Your an Damn fine Player and that is an Beautiful but tough Layout!
